The heart of any pub is its bar, and here at Palmer’s our bar offers a wide & eclectic selection so no matter your poison of choice, there’s always something for you here.
With three real ale handpulls and eight kegs, as well as a selection of local beers in bottle & can, we’ve got a beer for every mood. Our cask beer changes weekly and we’re always adding new deliveries to our beer list.
Not a huge beer fan? Fear not! We have a wide range of real ciders & fruit ciders for those with a sweet tooth. Our carbon neutral wines come from across the globe and with over 50 gins, some distilled as close as Kings Lynn, you’ll never have a dull G&T again!
We also stock a large number of Non-Alcoholic and soft drinks, a trip to the pub should always be a good time, regardless of alcohol content.

Hopshackle - Simmarillo
A golden ale with aromas of citrus and soft fruits and tangy flavours of grapefruit with blackberry, plum and pineapple in the background. In 2013 there was a shortage of Amarillo hops to make the beer called Marillo. Having sourced some Simcoe hops to use as an alternative in the recipe, Simarillo was born …… the name made sense !!! Hops: Cascade and Simcoe (both USA).
Wolf - Timber Wolf
Our strongest ale which we brew at the end of the year. A deep ruby reddish malty ale with a smooth, velvety, bittersweet finish.
Bowler's - The Ryddler
A full bodied rye IPA with a long dry finish. Strong and hoppy, with spicy, woody and resinous notes. The sweetness of the complex malt bill is balanced by the bitterness from an extravagant addition of dry hops. Hops: Bravo, Chinook, Columbus, Amarillo and Citra.
Ampersand - Bidon
A session ale brewed to be light, crisp and easy drinking. Lots of late Citra and El Dorado hops provide a great combination of tropical, peach and citrus notes to balance the dry finish and the crisp malt body. Gluten free and vegan friendly.
Wolf - Golden Jackal
A hoppy, thirst quenching golden session bitter, with a flowery nose and slightly citrus aftertaste. Our flagship award winning beer.
Ampersand - Salem
A dark smooth lager that showcases the coffee and chocolate malt flavours alongside the piney Simcoe and Columbus hops. Brewed using a traditional Czech pilsner yeast and lager conditioned for four weeks to give the perfect refreshing dark beer. Vegan friendly.
Cranes - Wild English Berries
Juicy, rich and full-flavoured. Fusing the luscious juice of blackberries, blueberries, raspberries and strawberries with the invigorating crispness of medium-dry apple cider. A perfect choice for those seeking a fruity twist on the classic.
Cranes - Premium Apple
We craft our naturally crisp Premium Apple cider using 100% fresh juice. We use the finest British apples, picked and pressed on the same day, to deliver a fresh, medium-dry cider.
