The heart of any pub is its bar, and here at Palmer’s our bar offers a wide & eclectic selection so no matter your poison of choice, there’s always something for you here.

With three real ale handpulls and eight kegs, as well as a selection of local beers in bottle & can, we’ve got a beer for every mood. Our cask beer changes weekly and we’re always adding new deliveries to our beer list.

Not a huge beer fan? Fear not! We have a wide range of real ciders & fruit ciders for those with a sweet tooth. Our carbon neutral wines come from across the globe and with over 50 gins, some distilled as close as Kings Lynn, you’ll never have a dull G&T again!

We also stock a large number of Non-Alcoholic and soft drinks, a trip to the pub should always be a good time, regardless of alcohol content.

Our wine list is sourced from organic vineyards across the world. Working with specialist wine importer Vintage Roots (Green retailer of the year 2015), we have selected wines of real flavour and character, many of which are low in added sulphur. Vintage Roots also undertakes an extensive carbon audit of the transport methods for their wine, and funds environmental projects to offset the carbon impact. Our wines are therefore ‘carbon neutral’, making them a guilt-less pleasure.

White

Chardonnay, Adobe Reserva (Chile) £5.60 (£24)

Chilean tropical Chardonnay, with pineapple flavours that are both textured, and fresh to the finish. The hint of oak adds a subtle complexity.

Pinot Grigio, Hoopoe, IGT (Sicily) £5.60 (£24)

A blend of 70% Pinot Grigio and 30% Catarratto (an indigenous Sicilian grape), very fruity, fresh and zingy in the mouth, full of ripe peach and apple

Viognier, Domaine de Petit Roubie (France) £6.30 (£27)

Mango, apricot & peach flavours in Domaine de Petit Roubié's Viognier, a beautifully smooth and creamy texture. Decadent, but with balancing acidity.

Le Noisette, Domaine de Pajot (France) £6.6 (£28)

A sweet wine with honey, nectarine and herb aromas, before the palate that is clear and rich, but with a striking apple acidity to balance.

Sauvignon Blanc, Walnut Block (New Zealand) £7.70 (£33)

Walnut Block's The Collectables is punchy, verdant and crisp, a classic Marlborough wine, with a citrus/gooseberry impact on the senses.

Riesling, Edition Bee (Germany) £8.65 (£37)

Dry wine with an aroma of green apples and citrus, followed by intense lime, kiwi and passion fruit flavours in the mouth. Uplifting, racy and fresh.

Red

Shiraz, Stellar Organics (South Africa) £5.85 (£25)

A pure, fruit-filled organic Shiraz crammed with the classic flavours of blueberry, bramble & a hint of spicy pepper on the finish.

Merlot, Le Bistro Montmija £5.85 (£25)

Made from Merlot and bush vine Carignan, grown along the Mediterranean coastline. Fruity, warm and hearty.

Rioja, Ijalba, DOC (Spain) £6.10 (£26)

Made from 100% Tempranillo with a beguiling raspberry jam character which has no rough edges. Velvety smooth from start to finish.

Malbec, Domaine Bousquet (Argentina) £6.60 (£28)

Effusive notes of blackberry, damson and cassis overlain with a subtle hint of spice. An aromatic note of floral violet adds to its heady charm.

Syrah, Salvaje, Emiliana (Chile) £7.70 (£33)

An aroma of ripe black fruits and hints of pepper and nutmeg with blueberry and blackberry.

Chianti, Tenta il Palagio (Italy) £8.45 (£36)

Sangiovese grapes, with small quantities of Canaiolo & Colorino, bright fruit and lemon-rind undertones with a medium body and a flavourful finish.

Dry yet luscious with red fruit flavours coming through on the finish.

Mas de Longchamp, Bouches du Rhône (France) £6.10(£26)

The Caladoc grape is a cross between Grenache & Malbec and brings added fruit and spice to the bouquet. Dry and crisp wild strawberries.

Prosecco Giol (Italy) £25

Very crisp, clean, with an apple and citrus style, this award winning gently sparkling prosecco in a bottle large enough to share.

Meinklang Sparkling Rosé £33

Made from a blend of 50% Zweigelt, 20% Pinot Noir, 10% St Laurent & 10% Blaufrankisch. Very lightly sparkled, cherry-red, crisp, dry & moreish.

Champagne Serge Faust Carte D'or (France) £75

A blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier grapes for depth and complexity.
