Meet the people who make Palmer's what it is
Kate
Our head chef Kate has been working in commercial kitchens for the last eight years, and in domestic ones for 30 years before that. When she and Nick left their former life working in the NHS, Kate decided to channel her care for people into providing them with the tastiest food she could. She oversees all menu design as well as the rest of the kitchen team.
Her current favourite on the menu is
Sophie
Sophie is our manager and all round odd job sorter-outer. After finishing uni in 2019 she came back to help her parents with the pub and during the pandemic they all decided to open Palmer’s as pub two. She oversees all events, bar ordering, staff hiring & training and our social media (including this website).
Her current menu favourite is the paneer makhani & drink of choice is mulberry gin & lemonade.
